The export processing zone will be renamed the "Science and Technology Industrial Park" from March 28. In the future, the park will set an annual output value growth target of 5%. The Management Office of the Export Processing Zone stated that the expansion of the parks in Pingtung and Kaohsiung has been locked to encourage more manufacturers to enter.

After half a century, the export processing zone has gone through the glorious years of Taiwan's economic take-off. The old signboard has been removed a few days ago, and it has been declared into history. It will be renamed the "Science and Technology Industrial Park" on March 28, opening a new chapter in the development and positioning of the park.
